Our Story

Owners and executives of small and midsize businesses are busy. Really busy. We know. For more than a decade we published The New York Enterprise Report (NYER), a media company (magazine, website and events) that had a loyal following of more than 100,000 SMB business owners and execs. Our advertisers and sponsors were raving fans too, trusting us to deliver their messages to this hard-to-reach and highly sought after audience.

There are a number of reasons why SMBs are a challenging audience to engage. With our media origins, we are uniquely qualified to help you build meaningful connections with them. After selling NYER in 2014, we now focus our passions on helping enterprise companies achieve their sales goals through exceptional content programs targeting SMBs.

Rob is the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of content development firm RSL Media, specializing in helping enterprise companies achieve their sales goals through exceptional buyer-aligned content programs targeting small and midsize businesses (SMBs). As Editor-in-Chief, he oversees each strategic engagement and is passionate about helping enterprise companies achieve their sales and marketing goals. Rob has been helping big brands “speak SMB” since he founded The New York Enterprise Report (NYER) in 2003.

Rob has been nationally recognized for his small business journalism and leadership. He began his career as a “Big 6” CPA and has also held senior positions in several fast-growth entrepreneurial companies.
